Founded in nature

I’ve always loved the outdoors. And have used wilderness immersion and being outside as a way to feel grounded and calm. I wanted to find a way to bring the sense of peace that I found in nature into my every day life. After graduating, I was feeling overwhelmed by the idea of finding a job, that’s when I found meditation.

 rooted in experience

In high school I found out I had limes disease and quickly went from excelling as an athlete to focusing on my health and wellness. During this time I also experienced the nuances of eastern and western medicine and began to understand the importance of taking care of ourselves - mind, body and soul.

It was during this time that I started to find my passion in health and wellness. I worked in wellness doing wilderness therapy and spinal coach injury therapy through adaptive yoga. They were fulfilling in one way but I was inspired to reach more people and utilize my business sense.

Fueled by knowledge

I decided to dive deep into the science and evidence behind mindfulness and meditation. This led me to Stanford University where I completed the Compassion Cultivation Program. I expanded on these learnings at Duke University through their Koru Mindfulness Institute.

After my experience in the classroom and in life I was inspired to find a way to spread the word about how to seek the joy of being alive. I was called to teach meditation because it a powerful tool thats been around for thousands of years and it can change the way our minds manage hardship and adversity. It can also help us to become a better listeners, leaders, and feel healthier and happier.

It was a no brainer.

I came from a family of entrepreneurs so I knew that I had the ability to connect with people in corporate settings and to deliver the message around mindfulness and meditation in a way that felt accessible and realistic.

Woodhull Wellness brings accessible and real mindfulness and compassion-based meditation tools to employees, companies and individuals around the world.

We want to change the way people work and feel. Our vision is to increase mental and emotion resilience in all of our clients. Helping them feel like stronger leaders and happier people.
